What dream connected to your otherkin, therian, or nonhuman experiences has stayed with you the longest?
So... My account isn't exactly new, but I haven't been active here enough to make my presence known, so hi. The one speaking here is Guilherme and I'm part of the Fragments System (we are currently accepting being called Prometheus). I'm the main fronter along with Gabriel, but I still appear here more often.
Last day of the week to post
I do not bring death, but I am there to mourn the lost
I do not bring darkness, but I take comfort in its solitude
Is it my fault that those who come near me may choose their own destruction when I don't will it?
I choose to dress for myself, to sing for myself, to live for myself. I choose to love myself.
But there are those who blame my mere existence for their troubles and their wrongs. They come to me and say I am at fault that their ship is on the rocks. I did not guide their ship or beckon them to my shore. I want nothing to do with such people, yet they still come to me.
Leave me be. Leave me in the darkness to mourn my lost siblings you have hunted and killed. Leave me to live what remains of my life as I choose.
I want nothing of the death you bring
I won't be on here for the weekend and maybe longer due to family issues that we have to resolve before I can get back to use a computer again but anyways let's get into the prompt.
Knotted cord with K2 azurite stone and beads carved from European wolf bone, with a pendant featuring the therianthropy theta delta symbol with a wolf's face at the center. Made for wolf and dog therians. Natural materials such as fur and bone have long been used to assist a shapeshifter into achieving their shift or growing closer to their animal-nature.
Hello beings!
What questions do you think are most important to ask yourself during self-discovery?
greetings, havent posted in a bit due to things happening in everyday life; i come back to ask, what does a pack, a pride, a constellation or other have to be for you? who do you consider part of the group, is it strictly family-based, strictly alter/nonhuman, does it have to be a certain amount of folks, does everyone need to be the same 'type or clade, what do you do together (if anything), does everyone know eachother, etc etc. if you dont have a pack or are more on the solitary side, would you enjoy being in one anyway?
Personally, my constellation as of now consists of my mate and my biological little brother, all alterhuman and with 'types unrelated to mine. i would consider some irl/online human friends part of it as well, but in a more distant way if that makes sense. they may not be part of the core constellation but they are welcome anytime to join us for things.
Does your identity ask anything of you — impose any pull, obligation, or sense of responsibility that you didn't consciously choose?
What part of your experiences feels most connected to the past in relation to your otherkin, therian, or nonhuman identity?
I make things when I am bored and/or angsty.
Been a while. But I've been feeling more dog-like as of late. Some of it stems from spending time with my partner, and I love that so much. They amplify my experiences greatly, and I really want to tell them about how I feel identity wise.
One topic I had been meaning to write more on is the usage of natural materials (bones, skins, stones and etc) in the otherkin and therianthropy exploration process. This is a topic I and my system have decades of experience on, having utilized natural materials in our personal explorations, our art and our magic for almost three decades now. I am, however, out of practice with writing and producing long form content, something I used to be very good at. Time and covid have left me rusty, and I'm working on changing that.

What assumptions are you trying not to make too quickly?
People often speak of many otherkin, therian or alterhuman "identities", but I never found that wording as something I could identify with, personally. For me, I have one single identity, as one single person. However, that identity has many facets. All those facets are interconnected parts of a whole. They all relate to and with each other, all share a single crystal lattice. Angel and dragon, goshawk and bear. Even the cyborg.
Recently set up an account with LibraryThing as a container for my years of reading and research as other and therian. It is forever in process; backing up 20+ years of books is no small task.
What topic do you think deserves more careful questioning within the community?
