A thing that brings me a lot of joy in my life and really makes me appreciate my nonhuman identity is when I suddenly get a massive influx of feelings towards one specific past life because of a positive trigger.

We sang as Gaia was born.
We gave her life.
She grew under our watchful eyes.

We cradled her in our arms as she gave birth.

We sang her children lullabies.
We stood ready when they took those first fragile steps.

Sadness came when Gaia's children forgot.
They abused their mother.
We knew sadness.
We came to her children, to protect and to guide.
The Elf, the Hobbit, the Fey, the Vampyre, the spirit.
Wiccan, wizard alike we took form.
We came to help and to give hope.
We were scorned, we were hated.
We knew pain.
We knew fear.
Together we hid, under rock, under ground.
In the sacred sanctuary of the trees.
Gaia mourned for her children, Gaia mourned for us.
We did not mourn.
Many aeons we waited, centuries untold, time has no meaning for us.
We will always be reborn.
The children are awakening.
They are remembering.
We come together, we take up the call.

I am Krin (he/him/his). I am 20 yrs old and have been awakened / in the therian community since late 2019. I have had my ups and downs in discovering myself since I first joined, but it has been a marvelous time getting to know who I am in my roots.

I am currently in my second year university, studying electrical engineering as a transfer student from preforming arts. I have been a cellist for over 9 years. and an artist for over 10. 

I am alternative, neurodivergent, and queer. I love to participate in up-cycling and alt fashion.. though I usually opt for comfort. I am covered in tattoos and piercings. All of which I love. 

I am an animal nerd at heart and am passionate about keeping the world clean and safe for ALL, not just humans.

My two identities are woolly mammoth and diamondback rattlesnake. I have a feeling I have at least one other theriotype but have yet to give myself time to explore or question it. 

I moved here from instagram at a hope of a different pace and to meet new alter humans. I needed a more relaxed blogging site as instagram felt too cluttered and popularity based rather than individual experiences and just enjoying the community we have.

I've been thinking if I should write something about why I'm specifically a wind dragon, and not some other kind of dragon. Usually, dragons are portrayed as huge, fire-breathing beasts, and I never really saw myself like this (← Considering that, I could also write a post about why I don't identify with most dragons, but that's for another time). I could have also had any other, different element, but I know why my aligned is the wind and air.

Hello everyone! My name is Dreki, and I'm a 26 winters old dragon currently residing in Germany.
I've been part of the otherkin community for several years now and identify specifically as a wind dragon. My draconity is a big part of who I am, although I'll save the story of how I came to understand and identify as a dragon for a separate post.

Outside of my otherkin identity, I'm a nurse. Caring for others is something that's always been very important to me. I'm generally a rather quiet and shy dragon at first, but I love getting to know others once I get comfortable with them.

Over the past few years, I've become involved in building communities for alterhumans. I'm one of the beings behind Eurokin, a European alterhuman community I created some time ago, and I've helped create and manage several other online spaces where alterhumans can share and talk about their experiences. I've also had the opportunity to meet fellow dragons in person dragon through Gathers hosted by Dragonkin.EU, which has been one of the most rewarding parts of being involved in the community.

Hi we're 3 young people from Denmark and we're making a project about subcultures, and we found otherkins very interesting. So we wanted to ask if there where anyone who wanted to answer some questions about how being an otherkin changed you life.

Hello! I'm Hazel, 24 (he/they). For awhile I identified with xenomorphs / aliens, but lately it's evolved into a much more complicated identity that I'd like to explore further. I'm autistic and struggle with a lot of self shaming, which I'm hoping that connecting with this side of myself will help boost my own self confidence. I'm still getting used to talking (typing) about my identity, but it's a mixture of psychological and physical (?), and was most likely brought on by my autism + physical ailments that left me feeling disconnected from humans. 

I need help, anyone that can. I am Sir Galahad of the Holy Grail. But.. I\'m alone. I don\'t know any of the other Knights or anything. I can\'t find any groups or anything I fit into. I feel like it\'s mentally killing me, especially when I get my mind stuck onto it. I feel like I\'m meant to be searching for the Grail, finding other Knights- something\'s meant to be happening here.
I can explain more if needed but,

I saw a few posts online depicting detailed care guides for their species / theriotypes, and it inspired me to start planning my own! I wanted this care guide to be about my Xenomorph fictype (?) since my canine theriotype has been quite dormant for the summer. This will grow into either a couple of slides on Instagram, or just a proper blog post. 

Hi :) in this life my name is Alyssa, but my spirits name is Saphira (not Sapphira), and im a nymph-witch hybrid. I feel most at home when swimming or floating in the water, i love wildlife and they love me. Im not sure what kind of nymph i am, as i have traits of a water nymph and a storm nymph (i think thats what its called??), i know far more about my witch lineage. Originally im a nymph (in case i havent said that enough yet 😂) and about 100 years ago i started being born into this lineage of witches. My lineage is of healers. My grams could heal plants and restore the recently deceased plants, my mother (in this life) has a healing touch (passive), and i work with auras. Also im new to this site so idk how pm's or anything work. Msg me tho if you're interested :) oh and also, im pansexual.
