I'm trying new things.

I saw a post with the prompt thing, so I wanted to try it, too. My first prompt is:

Are there experiences you think people often overlook? Why?

Yes, there are experiences that I think people overlook because I often come across people who don't really care that I exist despite the fact that we talk(ed) a lot. Sometimes, I wonder if they forget that I trusted them enough to explain my identity to them.

It makes me wonder if those people even know they overlook something, since they haven’t experienced it themselves. Ignorance (or just plain unaware) can make you miss a lot of things in life. Being honest about that to someone can help them see.

As for the prompt itself. This is more a general advice than sharing a specific experience but; get out of that comfort zone and commit to it. If it makes you happy, then don’t let others around you take you down. You are doing it for yourself, not to say you have done it or to share that photo on social media, but to keep that experience and that feeling with you for the rest of your life. I personally think that the most overlooked part of any experience is actually experiencing it. Revel in the moment, enjoy it while it lasts.
