Prompt #1

What time of day seems most conducive to shifts related to your otherkin, therian, or nonhuman experiences?

Oddly enough, being out in the day triggers a lot of my behaviors. Perhaps intense exposure to sunlight / light brings out something. Being in the dark is soothing, but I don't mind instances where small patches of light are around me. The warmth of the sun is nice for a few seconds before I get overheated...

Interestingly, I am the opposite. I thrive at night. The sun is good to bask in, but I become very lethargic in it. Thanks for sharing!

Oh I absolutely get that lethargic feeling in the sun. If I'm too hot I easily get overstimulated which leads to me shutting down (becoming nonverbal and extreamly antisocial)

For me it's more about the surroundings and weather, regardless of the time of day. Stormy, misty, windy, midday in the mountains, night time in the forest, etc.

Definitely a combination of what has been said already. The weather has a big impact on me; storms will bring out the biggest of shifts, but hiking on a mountain in broad daylight will also make me feel shifty and enhance my phantom limbs. Night time is definitely the moment where the veil between worlds seems to be the thinnest and I find it easier to connect.
