Hello everyone, my name is Astrophora. You can call me Astro. I\'m a mermaid from the Pacific Ocean and while I\'m not sure if I\'m in exactly the right place since I haven\'t found many merfolk here, I do feel like I can be taken seriously here. Ever since I first laid eyes on the ocean I\'ve had a profound connection to it, and I suppose even from back then even when I was learning to adjust to my new human body I\'ve known deep down that I was a mermaid, but it slept in my subconscious. I didn\'t want to admit it because the idea was not only extremely mysterious but scary to me. In some aspects it still is, but I\'ve learned to embrace this part of myself. I\'m also a medium and have had many past life regressions of my time undersea.

Guys I lost the drawing from my pfp and I want to remake it but I can't draw to save my life. I traced N's body and added random components for the og to make my oc. Got any tips that might help me?

Underneath stately oaks and emerald bough
Where Moonlight's son is faerie king
And come the dawn they'll be no more
And mortals' daughter Raven's child
will have gone away
With silver haired Moonlight's son
through the elven door
That leads to the realms of ereafter
and the lands of Fey.

weirdly, i have a patron via patreon today. never happened before. the very idea someone would appreciate my (but is it) art is really messing with my head a little...

Hey Everyone, I'm Neoshie, or Noe. I'm a brown bear and a wolf. Not a hybrid, I'm one or the other. I am not sure why or how or what may trigger the switch from Neo the Bear to/from Neo the Wolf, but it happens. I am Neo the Bear more than Neo the Wolf. I'm 30 years old. I'm secretly otherkin. In day to day life, I'm a mother, wife and soon to be MET student. I'm hoping to find some really good friends here. In real life I have a difficult time making and keeping friends because either they stop enjoying my company or I hate them after a few days. I have a anxiety companion animal too who is in training to be a service dog. His name is Bo.

So I've been having these feelings, often enough now of limbs, wings, tail, muzzle, talons. Anywhere else I'd seem insane... But that's how it is and I hope that here I can say that. I can feel the way they'll twitch at times to stimulation, the feeling of how my snout picks up more scents than a human nose ever could. I truly, deeply and utterly want the body and scales that plague me non stop, I just want somewhere to speak myself, open up and showcase just what I know I am.

Online gathering of Elves, Fae, and adjacent Folk... Would you attend?

This past August, some therians and otherkin from Tumblr organized a free virtual convention called Othercon. It went off well, proving such a thing can be done, so my husband and I plus a couple of elven-faery friends wondered: could we do a similar online gather that was specifically intended for Elves-Sidhe-Tuatha-Fae?

Wondering if there are others like me. I feel as though I don\'t fit in with other humans and find them extremely annoying most of the time. I find I have a hard time wrapping my head around alot of the things they do.

I find websites like Otherkin.net allow me to express myself easily without having to "dress up" online. Such a simple method of communication away from the goal of likes, follows and general engagement. That is the difficulty I have on Instagram and YouTube. It's all so... energetic. Colorful, jumpy, loud. As I get older I thrive better in the quieter sections of the community.
