I've spent my entire life feeling like an "other" and for years, I thought it was just because I'm a lesbian. However, now that I have time and space to just focus on myself l, for probably the first significant amount of time in my life, I am I putting pieces together. I am a newly-realized Dwarfkin (and it's proving to be pretty darn hard to find others) but some of my favorite media (paired with life experience) triggered distinct, profound feelings that I'm not only in a place and time that don't fit right, but that somewhere in my past, I had close relationships with elves, including, I believe, a very important romance. Rest assured that I'm not in your group to turn it into a personal dating service. I'm just reaching out to make new connections with a type of kin that I feel really comfortable with as I explore this previously unrealized side of myself. I've always gotten the impression that the otherkin culture is one of friendly acceptance. My hope is that, as with my past, I can find a little bit of belonging with the elves. :-)
Hello, I am Valentine. That isn't my earthly name but rather one I foresaw for myself. Ever since I was a child I found something was off with me. Only to realize I am Otherkin roughly at the age of 7. Yes, it was a young age but I had so many issues with my life that when the reality set it, it made me dread. I am an Angelkin. A full blood and born Angelkin. I have been in hiding for ages and finally believed I can help other's now instead to be what I normally do which is assist from the shadows that the World has cast on me. I have countless talents and wish to be around others. I seem quite simple on the outside but there cast many things you can find about me.

Unlike some of the members of the Otherkin community I have seen, I felt comfortable at first, when I was a child. I was born human, therefore I was human. Makes sense, right?
I\'ve been away from otherkin.net for a few years. Life happens *shrug*
I am no longer taking students, but I\'m willing to talk to people and try to answer questions.
