Writing Prompt

First time trying out the writing prompt feature, and realizing I may need to add a button to automatically quote it in the post text.  The one I selected today was: 

If you could leave one message for your newly-awakened self regarding your otherkin, therian, or nonhuman identity, what would it say?

Keep better records, right from the start. Develop a real habit of journaling everything and don't let it slide. Emails and chat logs are not sufficient. Better yet, keep multiple copies and back up everything.  These records are the most fundamental tools you will ever find for really exploring the question of nonhuman identity.

"Be(lieve) yourself."

I spend way too long trying to hide, trying to adapt, to mask and to be anything but myself. Not just in the sense of my Draconity, but also in gender and general self-expression. I took so long to please those around me, to hide and care about what others would think of me, that I didn't take care of myself and in the end all it gave me was lost time.

Life here on Earth is short, make the best of it every day!

Same here, I actually recently downloaded new personal wiki software (SilverBullet) to help me compile older records of memories spread across emails, IRC and Discord logs, older instant messaging logs, livejournal and dreamwidth entries, wordpress articles, wordpress drafts, offline journals etc.

Take your time. Introspect and research, and in doing those, keep track of your experiences for future reference.
