Something I've seen

Learning to write more is a skill that comes with time, and has to be exercised. For me, at school, and even now at uni to an extent, I have had a pretty bad habit of trying to make things as brief and to the point as possible. Just have to consistently practice delving deeper into things. 

I think that it's ok to give simple answers, but if you want to achieve writing longer replies, and it doesn't come naturally, maybe this could help?

• don't think that it's "too much" to write or that your thought is "unnecessary". It's your profile, your post and the prompt that you want to answer! So go wild - write down your "train of thoughts" even if they might not fit the prompt. I personally love how my answers "evolve" - I start by following the prompt, and then I somehow end up describing something else. And that's ok, just like in convesations: you start talking to a person about how the night sky is beautiful and the converstation moves of to debating wether aliens exist [hello! they exist, but shh... ;]

• think. a lot! For example, if you think "I am questioning my identity", later think of why are you questioning it. Maybe it's shifts? The feeling of being nonhuman? Animalistic urges? Species dysphoria? Something else? Write everything down, as I said, it's never too much - it's not a school essay haha :]

• Read! You don't have to read long ahh books, or old-fahioned poerty [mmm poetry], unless you enjoy it. I encourage you to read even more posts on here and analyse them. What expressions do the athors use? Maybe some interesting phrases that link the sentences? English is not my first language, and it was about 60% the internet which taught me speaking/writing it! If not reading other's posts, I wouldn't speak English this well [for a Polish person hehe]!
