Some kind of cat.

Clawdia 🌐 in Hybridkin

Hello! A beautiful Friday to anyone and everyone.

There's always that internal struggle to pinpoint qualities that are of an exact physio-typical nature versus generic attributes that could be applicable to any number of non-human species.  "I like to hunt and stalk!"   Well, great.  So does everything else.  "I prefer the night!"  Awesome.  Lots of creatures do.  "I have flexible ears and can hear things outside of the range that most people do!"   Okay, lots of animals have this trait.

I wish it was easier to describe the internal monologues that result in the insistent narrowing-down  of all available external and internal stimuli that lead to the tiny developments and revelations regarding kintypes.

All I can say is:
1)  I absolutely prefer the cold to the heat.  I can shovel snow for hours and be in my element.  The moment it gets above 65F, I'm just done.
2)  Any instance of human "fight or flight" tends to descend into a state of flowing grace, situational awareness, and dire focus.  The night life gets VERY interesting.
3)  Caffeine brings it out.  It provides fuel to it - as if there are two layers of existence that exist, and it helps show where the boundaries exist between being human and being otherkin, bringing a sense of color to a black and white photo, if that makes any sense.
4)  ... which also helps differentiate between what is latently human by design and what is not.  Somehow these are two separate points.  Utterly ineffable, as usual.

I have no idea what my point here was.  Just had to get that off my chest.

So I know felines are the far stronger sign for what my Theriotype is.  I also know I'm inextricably drawn towards people with cat ears and tails.  Always have been.  They feel like "Home" rather than anything else.  It's probably the strongest definition of home I've ever felt.  I often wonder if this has anything to do with Lyrians - the cat people from space that are described by channelers.
