Is there anything genuinely funny or absurd about your nonhuman identity — not in a dismissive way, but in the way that something can be both real and strange? What does it feel like to hold that?

My phantom shifts sometimes just feel like the feeling you get when you "have spiders crawling up your spine." It's weird but I've gotten used to it.
