Shining Hearth 2027

Announcing the seventh annual Shining Hearth, a free online gathering of Elves, Fae, Sidhe, and adjacent folk! It will be held on March 26-28, 2027, the fourth weekend in March, on our Discord server. (If you are unfamiliar with Discord, we have a guide for newcomers here.) As always, we plan to have workshops and discussions, games and watch parties, music, and of course plenty of time just to hang out and chat. Presenter sign-ups: November 13, 2026 - January 15, 2027
General registration: January 1 - March 25, 2027
Staff sign-ups: January 30 - March 1, 2027

Our schedule is designed to offer things to attend between 10 AM and 10 PM local time many places in the world, but as always, filling it out depends on who signs up! We need to have presenters willing to present at suitable times, staff to do presenter check-in duties and moderate chat, and streamers to host video watch parties or run games. If you are a member of any otherkind spaces that are focused on places in the eastern hemisphere (or just have a high population of non-North-Americans) where you could assist with outreach, we welcome suggestions. If you're outside of the Americas yourself, we encourage you to consider applying to present or be staff, or volunteering to stream a movie (or similar item) or host a game session. We were successful in filling all the European slots last year; let's see if we can push into the Asia/Oceania ones!
