The SF Bay Otherkin Meetup will be having our 7th annual special event at PantheaCon on Saturday, February 17th, 2018, from 5:00 – 10:00 PM. There will be music, snacks and drinks, reading material, a pretty slideshow, the Otherkin.net Discord chat, buttons and badge ribbons, and most likely Cards Against Humanity later in the evening (it’s become something of a tradition). http://eristic.net/fey/sfbayotherkin/pcon.php
PantheaCon is the largest indoor Pagan convention in the United States, hosted at the San Jose, California DoubleTree hotel over Presidents’ Day weekend (February 16th-19th, 2018). http://pantheacon.com/ The second room block will open at noon Pacific time on Monday, November 27th and it usually sells out in minutes. There are also overflow hotels.
You do not have to be registered for PantheaCon to come to this meetup. It is held in a private guestroom and no con badge is required to enter. However, if you are considering driving to the hotel just for the meetup, please note that the DoubleTree charges $22 for self-parking and it will probably be difficult to find a space on Saturday night. You can try to park in the overflow lot of the office buildings further down Gateway Place, or might be able to get away with short-term parking in the restaurant/office park across Airport Parkway on Technology Drive, since many of those businesses are closed on Saturday evening.
