i had never heard the term otherkin until today. i honestly always assumed i was alone thinking i wasnt bog standard human. i do not like the icon next to my name, no offense to those what made it.

Nobody made it, actually – it’s automatically generated by the “MonsterID” library, and folks are free to replace it with any image they like (within reason). It’s mostly there to give us something more individualized as the default icon, in case folks don’t get around to uploading one of their own, so we can still tell them apart at a glance.

I gotta agree with them, though, that whoever actually designed the icons that go in that library, I mean, ugh. Changing the default icon was the very first thing I did too (and I think the first/only status update I’ve ever posted here is to say “AUGH WHAT IS THAT”, heh).
