Howdy! 
I am Krin (he/him/his). I am 20 yrs old and have been awakened / in the therian community since late 2019. I have had my ups and downs in discovering myself since I first joined, but it has been a marvelous time getting to know who I am in my roots.

I am currently in my second year university, studying electrical engineering as a transfer student from preforming arts. I have been a cellist for over 9 years. and an artist for over 10. 

I am alternative, neurodivergent, and queer. I love to participate in up-cycling and alt fashion.. though I usually opt for comfort. I am covered in tattoos and piercings. All of which I love. 

I am an animal nerd at heart and am passionate about keeping the world clean and safe for ALL, not just humans.

My two identities are woolly mammoth and diamondback rattlesnake. I have a feeling I have at least one other theriotype but have yet to give myself time to explore or question it. 

I moved here from instagram at a hope of a different pace and to meet new alter humans. I needed a more relaxed blogging site as instagram felt too cluttered and popularity based rather than individual experiences and just enjoying the community we have.

Does your kintype have an influence on your gender identity? Maybe you disconnect your gender from your kitnype's gender? Or your gender identity changes during shifts? Beastie you can call me. I've been searching for a nice quiet place to discuss with other alter/nonhuman beings and I just happened to stumble here via Gillman's personal site. Tumblr wasnt doing it for me at all, and I preferred not interacting via my already established account out of "privacy", and I happen to find the community there to not be my thing anyway (too many kids for me too :x). I've always been fond of forums even though they aren't quite of my time lol, and this seems close enough to the atmosphere I've been searching for. I hope I'll find my place here.

I've had a digital journal all about the various things i go through as a nonhuman being for quite a while now, but unfortunately i find myself writing less and less. I don't feel like it's a lack of motivation or anything, rather i just cant find anything to write about? I wish to keep adding stuff so I can look back on it later on, and it's a little frustrating to just have nothing to add to put on the blank page :x

I'd like to know if 1: you have a journal/log of sorts you write in and 2: how you manage to keep updating it on a regular/semi-regular basis

It has been quite a long while since I last participated in anything even remotely relating to the otherkin community. I had started, more or less, in 2005. After quite a few many years, I opted out for a time.

This version was performed acapella by me, to the melody that I originally imagined when writing it.  Yes, that's my actual voice, and sorry for the background noise of the air conditioner and the mechanical keyboard. 

I don't love this version, I prefer the previously posted version set to music and performed by an AI, Suno.  However, I will admit that part of my reaction there is feeling something along the lines of dysphoria when I hear my own voice recorded.  I have a fairly decent singing voice, but I much prefer to share it in live in-person contexts.  Bardic circle around a campfire, for example.  Maybe sometime I'll see you there.

I live on a world called Yyl'Nector. Not in the past, not in another life. I am there right now. I can see the sun there, taste the breeze, feel the grass under my feet. My home is there, my family is there, my friends are there.

Achedunoi. It's a word that I've been carrying with me for years. It's one of the few words from my own world, my own language, that have survived the translation of my experience through Jarin's consciousness. It's also a word that is very special to me.

Achedunoi. In it's simplest form, it is a greeting to one who has been loved and missed, upon their returning. But it's not something that you would use to greet your partner with at the end of a workday. It is used for partings which have weight to them. That last decades, centuries, even lifetimes.  Partings that leave a wound behind.

Achedunoi. I have found the part of myself that has been missing, and I am made whole again.

Does anyone remember "grilling"? It seemed to be popular in my Amino days back in 2019, but I haven't found any resources as of recently to use to grill myself with new 'types I am questioning... If anyone is familiar with the concept, could you leave some of those questions for me to read over and think about? 

If it is called something different now (or even previously), could you let me know what as well? So I can dig up more questions to sit on..

Hello! I’m Louis, or Encore, either works for me! A mutual of mine shared this website elsewhere, and that is how I got here. I thought, as I’ve seen others do, it would be worth me making a little introduction in the hopes of finding others with a shared idenity.

A thing that brings me a lot of joy in my life and really makes me appreciate my nonhuman identity is when I suddenly get a massive influx of feelings towards one specific past life because of a positive trigger.

I saw a few posts online depicting detailed care guides for their species / theriotypes, and it inspired me to start planning my own! I wanted this care guide to be about my Xenomorph fictype (?) since my canine theriotype has been quite dormant for the summer. This will grow into either a couple of slides on Instagram, or just a proper blog post. 

i was wondering if any of your kintypes effects how you eat? whether it's what you eat or how. 

I've been around for awhile.

I have been wanting to do these prompts for a while, but I haven't had a ton of time. Today is my day off, so I thought I might as well! I think my goal right now is to do them all, eventually!
