Form is a concept of convienience, often seemingly based on what people expect to see. (Which may explain the differences between OldTestament? balls of wings and eyes and NewAge? fluffy winged humanoids).

to:

The term "Angel" was originally used in its strictest sense, that is, to describe otherkin who are incarnations of Judeo-Christian angels, archangels, seraphim, etc. Eventually the definition of "Angel" was broadened to include holy beings from other paradigms, i.e. spirits in the service of any deity. Recently, however, the term "{{Celestial}}" has become more common when describing anything that could be considered an angel or demon in any paradigm, and the term "Angel" is beginning to regain its original definition.

Form is a concept of convienience, often seemingly based on what people expect to see. (Which may explain the differences between OldTestament? balls of wings and eyes and more modern winged humanoids).

Just because it has wings, it doesn't make it an angel. (Birds have wings, flies have wings, flying fish have wings, some otherkin have odd energetic structures that could be mistaken for wings). Sticking wings on a humanoid doesn't make it an angel, it makes it a WingedThing?.
