Depending on the views the 'kin in question have of the how and why of reincarnation, 'Earth as a Learning Experience' can come up in different ways.

Some 'kin view their time on Earth as being a specific choice that they made/that was made for them, in order to have specific experiences that could only come from this particular society/culture/place.

Some view it as 'just another' life in a series, wherein all lives are seen as equally valid learning experiences, and while they may have something specific to learn here, it isn't something they chose purposefully ahead of time.
