Life is generally rather normal, except for anything directly related to your otherkin nature. You might find yourself questioning your perceptions, needing to learn techniques for coping with everyday life, you might question religion and philosophy, you might want to be surrounded by other people who experience life more similarly to yourself, etc. But you still have to pay the rent, go to work, attend school, obey local laws, etc. Homesickness is common, but a good number of us have learned that Gaia/Terra/Earth welcomes and needs us to spend a lifetime here for some reason, or there are lessons that our spirit needs to learn in a place such as this one, or people we need to meet, etc....or perhaps you're one of the folks who is actually born-otherkin, whether in body (some suspect some measure of elvish blood/DNA for example) or spirit, and just simply belongs to this planet, regardless of your personal nature.
