The Drow are a race of dark elves; some people believe that they were invented by a certain author who was fond of making up languages. This is not true, seeing as the drow were around in Scottish legend for eons before this aforementioned author was even born. They are said to live in various habitats; there are references to sea-drow and land-drow, and some informational sources say that they tend to live underground.
