There are several types of otherkin gatherings that take place in the community. Some of the larger gathers are camping/nature-oriented style, some are hotel-convention style. The larger gathers tend to cost something to cover site and other expenses (some have some degree of accomodation based on ability to pay, so always ask if finances are a problem). These are not "for profit" events however, and seem to be as likely to need extra donations as to break even. Occasionally, many people grab a room at the hotel and share it/split the cost.

Smaller gathers (often called "minigathers") tend to be held in someone's home, so there are no site fees. It is always polite to check with the organizers and bring something with you (e.g., food or drink), however. These smaller gathers tend to be "bring your own sleeping bag", that is "crash space is available". Travel can often be carpooled.

The events here are listed for informational purposes, and are not necessarily endorsed by Otherkin.net. Please use appropriate precautions when attending events, especially if you do not know the organisers personally.
