Want to iradicate all humans? excuse me, mr. 'otherkin', but who's the alleged outsider to this planet here?

I find it utterly depressing that there are people out there like yourselves that genuinely believe in this otherkin crap. I bet your 46-chromosome-wielding human parents are proud that they've raised such deluded, attention-deprived idiots. Are you all so insignificant that you need to brainwash yourself into thinking that you're an elf to feel above others?

I mean, I've heard of some stupid things in my time, but goddamn.. if it weren't for the internet there wouldn't be supportive "communities"(see "circle jerks") like this site for you poor deluded hacks to feel accepted.

Flames aside though, I'm curious as to what it was that gave you these ideas. What was the event that made you sit down and decide that you're really an intergalactic soul traveller from D'rftar9, or whatever. Were you not accepted at school? Did you play a little too much DnD in your teenage years?(which, without doubt, the majority of your aren't quite through with yet)

I don't know anymore.. ugh. I'm going to bed. Coherent responses would be nice. Though I'm expecting this to get deleted. Can't have opposing opinions messing up your little circle-jerk, can we?

Thanks!

I come from England. Thanks for being complimentary. Of course the acceptance of wierd is probably because most (not me, obviously) think their still the greatest country, anything in the country's the best and anyone like anyone in the country is another branch of best. Except for the elder generation. Their still stuck on the war thing.

I think that your idea about social acceptance may be true where you are, but like in everything else, Canada is different. I think that social acceptance is going DOWN here.

Agreed! I admit that I can be "us vs. them" at times, but I have been (and still am!)at best ridiculed, at worst abused, for saying what I think about ANYTHING! I am getting tired of people laughing at me, throwing things at me, telling me that I need "help". I am sentient just like they are, after all. In theory I agree with you that we have something special going on here in the U.S., but I also think that we have a helluva long way to go before we gain true tolerance. I am in high school, and I have found myself ostracized for the mere perception of being slightly different. Imagine if I were stupid enough to reveal that I may not be completely human, the critics would have a field day! So it looks to me at least that we have a long way to go before we Otherkin reveal our existence to the rest of our kind or humanity, take your pick. We have taken the first baby steps toward the path of ultimate acceptance and tolerance, but all who think to reveal themselves be warned: we are far from walking yet.

I find it very, very, hard not to want to eradicate humans. But you are probably right. However, for those such as myself who are in some form of school, it can be harder to believe humans are actually "good." Whilst I've told no-one, I believe others can instinctly sense that I am diffrent, and hate me for it. Uncountable are the times that I've limped home, eyes swollen shut and face bleeding profusely, ganged up on by a group of people my age who I have ever seen or spoken to. This will probably never stop, unless I use the abilities that are inherent to my tye of 'Kin. As I have already stated, you are right. Humanity is much too fragile to be warred on by something that "dosen't exist."

As a practicing male witch who grew up in a catholic Kibbutz who has just happened across the idea of Otherkin, i just read the article about them and us. I have written similar in the past. I would just like to say that the truth is often tired, and no-one likes to listen to good sense or advice. Hard as it may seem, only tolerance of others will ever lead to the tolerance of others for you. I thought that the sentiment behind that piece aws beautiful. That's all really. Blessed be y'all, TJD

I can't see the majority of normal people ever truly accepting us.I am not saying all people are that stuburn but unfortunetly the ones who would opose us are the louder voices.I believe some of our inherent talents can help calm them down as well as affect who gets into the government positions.Either way it will be difficult and telling the public can be bad for all of us.

Maybe the otherkin (we) should create their own country...
Even if I don't like the people I prefer going away than getting them out of their places. Otherkin is more adaptable.

I don't think that should be a good idea in creating Otherkin country. The whole world of humans would not even declare us. Has anyone declared a Jewish country? They have never created a state. Maybe in far future we have the opportunity to create our own country until the majority of humans tolerates us (100~1000 years or more). Now the best we can do is to make forums, start conversations and chats, organize gatherings and camping.
